What are the best things to do near Albuquerque?

I was in Albuquerque when I was only 6 years old, and I have very fond memories of this city, so I want to go there again in early October. Maybe someone from the forum has been there recently what interesting places are there in or near this city?

One of my favorite things to do near Albuquerque is to ride the Sandia Peak tram, which offers a view of the entire city and the Rio Grande Valley. Have you ever ridden it? If not, be sure to take a ride. It goes up Sandia Mountain, where you can relax at an altitude of 2.8 miles.
