I really worry about this, because I live in a super old house, and I know the sewer pipes in my area are ancient. If the cleaning is too aggressive, I’m scared something might go wrong.
What do they use to clean pipes now?

Well this isn’t even about the chemicals, because in a lot of places they still use the snake method to clean pipes. It takes longer, it’s harder, and honestly I feel like that could damage the pipes too. If you google is hydro jetting better than snaking - Ben's Plumbing actually offers this service all over Seattle – you’ll find a lot of proof that snaking is kind of outdated, and it’s better to go with plumbing companies that use modern methods.Comentario
