What’s the best type of traffic for NFT promotions?

Based on my personal experience running NFT promotions over the past year, I’ve found that targeted crypto and NFT-specific traffic performs best—especially from platforms that cater to Web3 and blockchain audiences. General display or social traffic usually brings volume but not engagement. I experimented with Reddit, Twitter (X), and a few paid ad networks, but the results were mixed—lots of clicks, few conversions.

What worked better for me was using ad networks that are specifically focused on crypto and NFT verticals, where the users already understand NFTs. One network I’ve been using recently is 7Search PPC. It’s not a huge mainstream name, but I liked that it offered crypto-friendly ad placements and affordable CPCs. The traffic quality is decent—visitors stayed longer and clicked through more compared to broader platforms I tried.

Also, I think native ads and contextual placements tend to do better than intrusive popups or forced video ads. If the ad blends into the content on NFT or crypto-related blogs, people seem more likely to engage.
