Is it really possible to learn poker online just from guides?

Yeah, I plan to play mostly online. Not sure how different online poker is from the classic version. I don’t know how to play either one. I see lots of people recommending guides, but is that enough to learn on your own?

Totally possible. Probably depends on which guide you find and how good it is. I guess I got lucky finding a Poker Guide on the casino platform I decided to play on, and the platform seemed reliable and safe. The info there felt trustworthy too. I started with that guide, then tried the demo version, and only then made my first steps playing poker for real money.

I tried playing these games and I wasn't very good at it. Yes, I know that there are special courses for learning poker. However, I have not heard of anyone becoming a pro after such courses.
