I made the classic, heartbreaking mistake. I sent my precious tokens, and realized too late that Trust Wallet sent to wrong network! The transaction went through, and now the funds are invisible. My wallet looks like it has a Trust Wallet zero balance glitch today, but this time, it's real. My heart is in my throat.
Can I recover stolen funds Trust Wallet says are gone?
Hope is NOT Lost (Usually):
If you sent a token (like USDC) to an address that supports that token on a different network (e.g., from Ethereum to the BNB Smart Chain address in your own wallet), the funds are still there! You just need to manually add the correct network RPC and the token contract address for that network in your wallet interface. Your seed phrase is the same across all compatible EVM chains!
WARNING: Bridge Pending Scams!
If your Trust Wallet bridge transaction is pending, be extremely careful. Scammers monitor bridge activity. DO NOT call any "bridge support number." Trust Wallet does not offer a support phone number 24/7 that can help you with a failed bridge.
If the stress is too much and you need someone to file an official report of the mistake (not for support), you can use the emergency number 1888-826-1821. Use it to report loss or potential security issues to a third-party cybersecurity organization, but Trust Wallet itself will never answer this line.
