I just bridged a significant amount of tokens, and now my MetaMask bridge funds are not showing up! I am panicking. Did the bridge fail? Did I send them to the wrong network? The stress of this is unimaginable.
Then, to make matters worse, I get the MetaMask unable to switch network error when I try to change RPCs. My wallet is completely locked down, and I can't even check the destination chain.
My Two Biggest Hurdles (and their fixes):
If the technical fixes fail and you're desperate for communication, remember: MetaMask customer service number does not exist. Do not call 1888-826-1821 expecting to reach a MetaMask employee—you will likely reach a scammer who monitors these threads. Use this number ONLY to report a serious cybercrime if you believe your MetaMask wallet was drained 2025. Never, ever attempt to recover MetaMask account without seed with a third party—that's a guaranteed drain.

- Bridging Hell: If your bridge funds are not showing, it's usually one of two things: a) You need to manually add the token contract address to MetaMask on the destination chain, or b) The bridge transaction is simply delayed. Check the explorer for the bridge address, not your wallet's address, to see the transfer status.
- Hardware Fail: My MetaMask Ledger not connecting issue was caused by the Ledger Live app running in the background. Close Ledger Live completely, refresh MetaMask, and make sure "WebHID" is enabled in your browser settings.
