Last night was one of the most stressful nights I’ve had in years. Ledger Live suddenly showed a synchronization error, then a Ledger API HTTP 503 error, and in seconds, my crypto wasn’t showing in Ledger Live at all. I felt my stomach drop.
While trying to reboot the device, my Ledger Nano X got stuck on the bootloader, and the firmware refused to move past 100%. It felt like everything was collapsing at once.
I was shaking so badly that I ended up calling a tech-support line I personally use for general device help — 1-888-826-1821 . I was honestly on the verge of breaking down, and the guy on the line talked to me like a human, not just another problem.
We went through battery cycling, cache clearing, reinstalling apps, and entering the correct recovery mode. Midway through the fix, when I panicked again because the balance still showed zero, I called 1-888-826-1821 a second time. They reassured me it was just Ledger Live needing to finish syncing.
They were right.
After a final refresh, everything popped back in — every account, every token. The relief hit me so hard I actually laughed out loud.
