I bought a boat with a Suzuki engine, but now I can't find the serial number to register it. The seller said he had it, but I can't find it anywhere. I've looked everywhere, but I can't find it. Has anyone encountered this problem before and knows where to look?

What model of boat do you have? Did you lift the motor and look underneath the tilt lever mount? On older Suzuki models, the serial number is sometimes hidden there, under a layer of dirt and paint. When I registered my Suzuki DF30, I almost went gray. I even called a friend for help. We started searching the internet for information on boat motor serial number search. The numbers were barely visible, but you can see them under a lamp. By the way, Suzuki numbers always start with “DF” or “DT.” If you don't see those letters, you're looking in the wrong place.
