We’re having a big family argument. My parents don’t get what I’m trying to tell them. They’re fine with a couple of lights, or even just hanging a single bulb, and they’re happy. But I keep saying the lighting should cover the whole backyard and create a soft, cozy vibe. That’s what makes it feel homey!
How important is backyard lighting, really?

Whose house is it anyway? If you still live with your parents, you’ll have to find a compromise. But if it’s their house, it’s really none of your business. They’re not coming over to your place and trying to hang a single lightbulb in the middle of your ceiling, so don’t force your opinion on them.Comentario

Yeah, I agree, because first you have to respect the opinion and taste of those who actually live there and spend time there. But you know, a lot of people reject new ideas just because it’s unfamiliar. Either they don’t want anything new, or they just can’t imagine how it would look. That’s exactly why you need landscape designers, and I can suggest these guys https://oakshs.ca/landscape-lighting/. They’ll create a full project, fit the lighting into it, and show options to you and your parents, so you can pick the best one together. Yeah, it might cost a bit more, but it’ll totally be worth it, trust me.Comentario
