How to Save Progress in Sonic Advance?

Hi everyone,

I’m playing Sonic Advance again and I’m struggling with saving progress between levels. I got my copy from Visit Sonic Advance, which also has the Sonic Advance APK for mobile users. Does anyone know how saving works in the Sonic Advance latest version? Is there a reliable emulator that supports auto-save?
